Hi there, we use Cerber and the Redirection plugin (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/redirection/) on many sites. We just launched a new site, and after activating Cerber, the redirects we setup are blocked by Cerber.

We’re sorry, you are not allowed to proceed
Our server stopped processing your request. Your request looks suspicious or similar to automated requests from spam posting software.

If you believe you should be able to perform this request, please let us know.

We confirmed this by deactivating Cerber, and testing the redirects (they worked). We then tried disabling the “hardening” options, however the issue remained. Only complete deactivation solves the issue.

Since we use Cerber and Redirection on most of our client websites we need to make certain these plugins play well together.

Can we whitelist the Redirection plugin somehow?

    Hi!

What URL did you set up for the redirection? Is it a particular custom URL or you just check some checkbox in the settings of the redirection plugin? What URL (a web page) do you visit to get this message?

I was redirecting an old page (https://mydomain.com/about-us.php) to the new “about” page: https://mydomain.com/about/ on the website. This was a custom/manual redirect, not a “setting”.

When I attempt to access the URL, the address stays at https://mydomain.com/about-us.php and gives me the following error:

“We’re sorry, you are not allowed to proceed

Our server stopped processing your request. Your request looks suspicious or similar to automated requests from spam posting software.

If you believe you should be able to perform this request, please let us know.”

I’ve confirmed the behavior on two separate websites with Redirection/Cerber.

You just need to add the following string to the Request whitelist setting field on the Traffic Inspector settings page.

    /about-us.php
