Conflict with theme

Hello,

We have installed the free version of this plugin on a site with the Konte theme.

We created a gallery in the plugin for an item and inserted the shortcode that was generated as needed into the WordPress portfolio page.

The trouble was that then when the Portfolio page displayed from the main menu, it showed up a page title “KONTE BLOG” as well as product categories on the side, which it should not display on that page.

We queried this as a bug with the theme developers and they advised that it was a conflict between the Portfolio of the theme and your plugin and advised that if we wished to have your plugin set up, to switch off the Portfolio posts in the theme. We did this, however once we switched on your plugin, all we got on the page was a black screen with none of the portfolio items displaying at all.

Thinking that it was a problem in the plugin set up, we switched off the plugin and switched on the Konte theme default Portfolio but there is still a blank screen and none of the items appear. (we did clear the cache a couple of times but still no change)
Could you please advise either how we get the Portfolio items to appear as they should on the page or alternatively, even though the plugin is switched off now, how we can get the default portfolio to appear (there still seems to be some kind of bug or conflict with the theme).
