Conflict with Theme.co Pro

    Hey there,
    we’ve been experiencing an error occurring a few weeks ago. There seems to be a conflict between Permalink Manager Lite and the editor of our theme (Pro from Theme.co). Everything works fine as long as we edit articles with the WordPress block editor, but once we switch to the Pro editor, we get the following error message and can’t edit anything:

    The preview could not load due to the iframe response being incomplete. This is most often related to a plugin conflict, or customizations introducing a PHP error.

    We had two different web developers look at it and they both said that Permalink Manager Lite is causing the error.

    Would be great if you could help, as your plugin as been working perfectly so far.

    Hi @linesmag,

    I apologize for the inconvenience! Another user reported me a similar issuee a few months ago. In short, the problem is caused by the custom redirect functions included in my plugin.

    Could you check if the issue still persists if “Redirect settings -> Redirect mode” option in Permalink Manager settings is set to: “Disable (Permalink Manager redirect functions)“?

    If this still does not help, you can conditionally disable the redirect functions with a code snippet. To use it, please paste the code to functions.php file in your child theme directory:
