Conflicting Slugs

    The recent update is causing havoc with URLs it’s hi-jacking other URLs

    I have buddy press installed and have group URLS

    /membership/groups/groupname

    and have an event
    /membership/event/groupname-meeting

    When ever I click the link to go to the “groups” URL it automatically redirects to the meeting URL the slugs are NOT the same (similar – but not the same).

    Any ideas on a fix for this issue?

    Howdy Frank3d,

    I am sorry that is causing you trouble. In order to fix you might change the slug of one of the other to something that is a bit more unique for now. That should make the two work side-by-side for now.

    We can look into this and see if there is a better way to handle that sort of situation with the plugin so we don’t accidentally hijack other pages. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
