    Hello, thank you for the plugin.

    Our goal is simple I think – to have a PDF attached version of any given Notification email. So whatever is shown in the Notification Email is what is shown in the PDF.

    So we have a Notification set which is using the following for its output: {all_fields:exclude[2,299,297,300,302,296,291,217,219,226,282,227,271,266,270,167,195,196,197,267,268,290,289]}

    Which works great for the notification email itself. But when we apply the PDF, it does not honor these exclusions.

    In addition, we tried turning on the “Enable Conditional” option – but even with that on, it is still outputting fields which, on the form itself, are hidden.

    So it seems it simply outputs any field with data, regardless of the above settings. Is that as expected and all the free version is capable of? If not, what might we be missing? Thank you.

    Hi there,

    Correct. The PDF doesn’t reflect your Notification Message. By default, the Core templates output fields in your form that have content (whether hidden in your form, or not). You do have the option to hide specific fields from the PDF, but be aware there are some fields that cannot be hidden in the free version (and requires a paid add-on).

    Alternatively, you could create a custom PDF template and pop in the merge tag used in your Notification Message. That should work too. 👍

    Hello, thanks. So I see now the CSS option – as well as the custom template. Sorry I didn’t look close enough, should have seen these.

    To be clear though, the Core Booster plugin would do this as well, and that is all I would need correct? Thanks

    Correct. If you’ve Hidden fields in your form, you can remove them from the PDF with Core Booster’s Customize Fields setting.
