• This plugin has A LOT of options and parts to figure out. I wanted to change the verbiage for “tags” to something else and after a lot of attempts…still shows Tags. I know this plugin is supposed to accomplish this, but it’s too complicated for me (21 years on WP).

@horizon70s please delete this review and open a support ticket instead. After 21 years you should know to ask for help rather than jumping straight to a bad review.

This plugin DOES NOT promise to allow you to change the word “Tags” on the front of your site. That is something we would never claim. This is out of our control unless you’re explicitly using our shortcodes or blocks.

I found this on Google that comes from you site:

TaxoPress: This is a popular choice for managing and renaming taxonomies like tags and categories across your entire site.

And FREE version doesn’t come with support.

@horizon70s you have read too much into that tiny text snippet you found on Google. We didn’t even write that tiny snippet!

And come on, after 21 years you should know that free plugins have support available: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/simple-tags/

Details of Free support are also the first result for when you Google for “TaxoPress Support”: https://taxopress.com/contact-us/

This is what you have on your product header for the plugin on websites:

You’re using TaxoPress Free. The Pro version has more features and support.

    Upgrade to Pro

And I don’t see how insulting me is helping the situation, either.

Correct, the Pro option does have more support.

@horizon70s it’s clear now that this review is incorrect and based on misunderstandings. Please do the right thing by removing this review and posting a support question here on the WordPress forums instead.

Doesn’t change the fact I couldn’t accomplish what I used the plugin for, or how rude the plugin author is. I’m done with this.

@horizon70s Please do better as a member of the WordPress community.

    • This negative review is for a feature that DOES NOT exist.
    • You’ve written 7 plugin reviews now. All of them are extremely negative.
    • You didn’t use our free support even though you know it is available for this plugin and other free plugins. You’ve written dozens of support questions for many plugins.
    • This review is full of inaccuracies that you now understand but refuse to correct.

You did a great job supporting my rudeness case. Please do better as a member of the WordPress community and don’t be a jerk.

If this were a courtoom drama, someone would object with “Asked and answered!”. Time to move on.
