Confusing Menu Items with WooCommerce

    Hello Janis,

    I just wanted to report, that the Admin Menu Editor causes some confusing menu items in the Dashboard menu when using WooCommerce.

    Please see my screenshot:

    It seems like Admin Menu Editor does ‘unhide’ them in some way, because when disabled, the menu items from WooCommerce dissappear just like they should.

    Can you fix this?
    Or at least work out a reason why? Maybe WooCommerce uses some weird technique to register these menu items …

    It’s a non critical bug, but annoying and confusing).

    Sorry, that’s really not something that I can fix on my end.

    What happens is that WooCommerce adds a bunch of hidden menu items for internal use. Normally that wouldn’t be a problem – lots of plugins have menu items that are only visible to some users/roles and not others. However, the specific way in which WooCommerce hides those items (i.e. directly modifying internal WP data structures) is incompatible with Admin Menu Editor. So AME does not realize the menu items are supposed to be hidden.
