Consent checkboxes checked by default

    When a user visit the settings page the first time is there a way to make the checkboxes checked by default?
    I understand that this will need a shift on how the mechanism work but that could be very useful in a lot of situations.

    @thanosdi Great question! It seems the reverse is true … if you check ‘required’ in each Consent, then the cookies are automatically allowed yet when they check their settings page there’s no way for them to change their preferences to No….

    No. This is against the GDPR rules. You’re allowed to create ‘required’ consents, that way they will be loaded no matter the user preference. Do note that you’re not allowed to collect personal information with this ‘required’ consent, cause that would also be against the GDPR rules.
