Good day,

in order to be GDPR-compliant we are using the consent manager of quantcast on our pages. On the non-amp page everything works fine and the ads are shown / tracking happens only after the consent of the visitor. This is not the case with the AMP-Version. The notice is shown and consent can be given or not be given, however all of the cookies still load in advance. Normally they only should load when consent is given. (So for example the ads are already shown, even no consent has been given). Do you know how this can be fixed?

@ahmedkaludi thank you for replying, however, this is not the same issue. The other topic was related to the style of a privacy button which was related to CSS. This is another issue which is related to the functioning of the consent manager, that is (as described above) not working!

We have created a GitHub ticket regarding this Consent Manager / Quantcast support in AMP. soon our developers will work on it and get back with a new update.

Has this solution been integrated into AMP for WP yet?

Good day,

would love to know if there are any updates on this issue!

I’ve seen in the GitHub ticket that it was supposed to roll out, however, Cookies are still set before the consent is given by the user! (You can see that e.g. that the Google Ads load before the consent is given.)

We already pushed this into our 1.0.76.13 update. Can you please share the short video regarding the issue which you are encountering at your end still? So that we will have a look and let you know back.

sorry I’ve just seen this now. You can check it yourself:

Open an article on one of our sites. If you accept cookies through the consent manager you can see basic ads (e.g. by Google). If you don’t accept cookies ads are not shown.

Now check the AMP Version. It doesn’t matter if you accept cookies or don’t accept them because they are still being set. You can see the advertisement in either way. Therefore the implementation is not working properly. You can also check this through an online service if the page is gdpr complient.
