Consent mode bug

Thanks for reaching out @ontario777. I checked your site and I can confirm that my visit (from an EEU country), is being counted in traffic. I can see a consent mode snippet present on your site when checking your sites source code, however, this isn’t placed via Site Kit.

In relation to the banner, I suspect this may be placed via AdSense, implemented via their privacy and messaging configurations. To determine more on this, please share the following:

1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.  
2. Do you see any active banners when visiting AdSense (specifically the Privacy and Messaging tab).
3. Does the same occur if you temporarily disconnect the AdSense module within Site Kit (Site Kit > Settings > AdSense > Edit > Disconnect)?

Thanks for the update @ontario777. Based on the banner still existing on some pages, I suspect this may be related to AdSense active on that page. I did notice that you do have an AdSense snippet placed when checking your sites source code for that specific page you shared directly above:

This would also indicate that it’s an AdSense banner placed. Note also that Site Kit doesn’t placed any consent banners on a site, it only enabled consent mode.

One other thing of note to indicate that this is an AdSense snippet, when I checked your site earlier today, on the homepage, there was a Site Kit AdSense snippet placed. This would be why the banner also appeared on other pages.

You can remove the non-Site Kit placed AdSense snippet on all pages of your site if you wish to remove any AdSense banner. Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you.
