Consent Mode v2

    Hello!

    I’m using Full Picture free variant. Version 9.2

    In Analytics the consent setup is graded as Excellent.

    From Ads I got email which suggestes to set Consent settings.

    In tag assistant I see that consent settings have been given to:
    Storage TypeConsent State
    ad_storage Granted
    analytics_storage Granted

    but for the Consent Mode v2 the next parameters are required:
    Google Consent Mode V2 (ad_user_data, ad_personalization)

    Plugin setup:

    Automatically control loading of tracking toolsJetpack Stats (from the Jetpack plugin)Google Analytics (always enabled, via Consent Mode v2)

    Google Ads (always enabled, via Consent Mode v2)

    Microsoft Advertising (always enabled, via MS EUT Consent Mode)

    What I miss?

    Hi

    The problems you are experiencing should not be happening. WP Full Picture sets and sends to Google information of all types of consents and does it at the same time for both tools – GA and GAds.

    I can’t tell you with 100% certainty what causes your problems, but I can think of three possible reasons.

    1. If you have a new store or a new Google Ads integration, then you may have to wait up to a week for Google to notice changes.
    2. You have another plugin that loads Google Ads script before the consents are set (unlikely, since WP FP settings are set to lead super early, but still possible)
    3. You may have your Google tags combined, which causes all sorts of problems. Check it here https://wpfullpicture.com/support/documentation/how-to-remove-destinations-from-a-google-site-tag/

    BTW. I noticed on your website that you are still loading google analytics universal analytics, which was discontinued 2 years ago. you may want to check it.

    I’m closing this topic due to inactivity. No other user reported any issues with Consent Mode.
