we want to have possibility to sell goods that vendors are still owner of goods in our shop, to send them monthly sales report and to pay them against invoice/against the sales report. We want to work for discount we receive from vendor, to sell goods against recommended prices
Currently, our system doesn’t have a dedicated feature to automatically send monthly sales reports to vendors. However, the admin can access a commission report, which includes details on product sales, tax, shipping, and commission for each order. This report can be filtered by vendor, and the admin can manually download and send it to the respective vendors.
Commission payments are handled manually, with the admin setting the commission percentage for each vendor. Payments are made via bank transfer, based on the sales and commission figures.
Each vendor retains ownership of their own products and can manage their inventory directly from the vendor dashboard. This allows vendors to have full control over the products they list and update them as needed.
We already opened a ticket to add an option to automatically send monthly sales reports to vendors and allow payments to be processed against those reports or invoices. This would help streamline the process and improve collaboration with vendors. I will +1 on this feature request to boost the priority some more.
