    I installed the CC plugin on a client’s WordPress site and connected it to their CC account. The error: Constant Contact Forms has experienced issues that may need addressed and functionality may be missing. appears in the dashboard. I checked the debug box and saved. No debugging logs are generated. I deleted the plugin and installed again. Still have the same error message. Debug box is checked and still no log file. The CC contact lists will not sync in the plugin admin, nor are they available to choose in a form. Created and tested form which resulted in form appearing to submit properly, but information is not captured anywhere.

    Theme being used is MentalPress WP Theme Version 1.8.0
    WordPress and CC Plugin are updated to most recent versions

    Sorry to hear that you’re experiencing these issues.

    To confirm, when you’ve visited the debug page that’s revealed after checking that setting, the textarea isn’t showing any sort of message about failing to create/write to a file correct? Perhaps when you click the download button for it, it prompts you to download what ends up being an empty constant-contact-errors.log.log file?

    One other thought to check on, at least to start. For the account that was used to connect the site, is that account the account owner, or is it perhaps just a campaign creator level account? If the campaign creator, then it may not have all the needed permissions, and the account owner’s should.

    Correct. The text area on the debug page does not show anything, and when I hit the Download logs link it results in a failed download due to no content.

    The Constant Contact account login that is connected is the only profile the client has, and is top level admin. It is a paid monthly subscription account.

    Hmm. Noted on all parts, but at the same time, doesn’t help move closer to a solution.

    You’ve confirmed you’re on 1.8.4 of our plugin already, so nothing new to get updated there.

    Is the admin notice staying persistent, even after visiting the debug page? It should get cleared out at that point, but if it’s still coming back, then more things are probably happening.
