I’ve been using MailOptin to connect my website newsletter subscription to Constant Contact, and it was working great until recently. Now it randomly stops working and I get the message: The optin campaign “” is failing to convert leads due to the following error “0: Error failed to refresh {“success”:false,”data”:”Unable to refresh the access token. HTTP error 400. Raw Provider API response: {\”error_description\”:\”unknown, invalid, or expired refresh token\”,\”error\”:\”invalid_grant\”}\r\n.”}”.

If I go to the integrations page and click ‘reauthorize’ for my Constant Contact integration, it starts working fine again until it happens again maybe after a few days.

How can I find a permanent fix for this issue?

    Hello @shawms38,

How many websites are you using this integration on?

Note that if you are using the new Constant Contact v3 integration, you are only permitted to use a CC account with one site you are using MailOptin on.

That’s a limitation by CC. However, you can use the Legacy CC integration in MailOptin. It doesn’t have this limitation.

The only limitation with the legacy integration is that it doesn’t support custom fields.

Please send us a ticket on our support forum to help you further. https://mailoptin.io/support/

    Regards
