It’s more on us than anything. The issue looks to be because you have 2 copies of the signup form on the page, and some javascript around the forms isn’t presently able to accommodate both. We do have changes in place intended for version 1.6.0 that will help address this type of situation, but we’re not ready to release that quite yet. We’re still polishing it up.
You’ll probably notice that the footer spot works just fine on other pages.
We understand and realize this is a bit of an inconvenience for such a page like the frontpage, and we’ll hopefully have 1.6.0 wrapped up soon and out the door to everyone. We’re willing to help brainstorm for possible temporary solutions, if desired.

Thanks for the reply. So I assume that if I remove the second form, the footer form should work again. I’ll give it a try.

I removed the second form and it fixed the footer form. Thanks! I never would have figured that out!
Glad to hear things are working for you for the moment.
It’s all features meant to help fight spam, but we didn’t account as best we could have for multiple forms on the same page. We’re aiming to rectify that soon.
