Constant Missed Schedule

Hi there,

These last few weeks, the number of missed scheduled posts has been off the charts on our website. After observing, I could not find any pattern (hour of schedule, etc).

I installed the Site Health plugin, who gave me this :
“The scheduled event, my_one_hour_event, is late to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.”

In fact, the updating process has also been acting weird lately. On screen, the process stops at “updating plugin XXX (1/2)”, but when the page stops loading, the site is indeed updated.

I guess both these problems are linked, but can’t figure out where it is coming from.
