In your placeholders documentation you mention placeholders for Contact Details.

I can not find any Contact Details fields when adding an event. I would like to add a contact, email address and phone number but these fields don’t exist. I have the following field groups:

    • When – date and time fields
    • Where – address fields
    • Booking / Registration – ticketing info

Can you let me know how I activate the Contact fields – can’t find anything in the settings that refers to them either, although in your docs it mentions you can set a default contact?

So the contact details can only refer to the person who has added the event, they are really event author fields. If I was adding a event that had a different contact person I’d need to add those as custom fields?

    Is that correct?

You’re correct that the WordPress author is the event owner. That means you’d need normally need an WordPress user for each event owner you want to use.

If you’re manually adding lots of events each with a different user you could used custom fields to store and display the event owner to speed things up.
