• Hi, I followed the instructions I found here – http://dcarlbom.com/google-tag-manager/contact-form-7-on-wordpress-with-gtm/

    Currently I have my google analytics tag which shows the users on all pages. Then I have made a CF7 Submit Tag which is a Universal Anlytics type. It fired a trigger that I made which is a custom event.

    The Trigger Type I made is custom and has an event name of gtm4wp.contactForm7Submitted and it fires on all custom events.

    When I did a preview I saw it there, but when I check in my google analytics account real time view I don’t see any event information passed through the Live Events Tab.

    Also do I have to setup a goal also in my google analytics account for all of this to work?

    Thank you

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

    I’ve checked your site and as you said, the proper GTM event is being fired and I can also see that a GA event is being sent to GA:
    event category: Contact Form
    event action: Sent
    event label: {{Page Path}}

    This event has been sent to this property ID: UA-98306491-1

    Could you double check whether this property ID is correct?
    Could you check your regular “Top events” report? Maybe there are already some numbers in it.
