Try switching to the default theme, deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, and clearing all cache data.
Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.
I switched to default theme and deactivated all plugins excluding Contact Form and WP Fastest Cache (for deleting cache), cleared cache and it did not help. It still takes around 10-15 sec to send after click on button.
Do you know of any other solution?
Or is possible to hide/deactivate button after click and add text “sending…”?

We are having the same difficulty. This is a WP/WooCommerce site and the submission is taking quite some time. Many customers think that something is going wrong so they hit the submit button again. This is new to us. We do also use reCaptcha so there could be an issue there. Going to do some testing to see if we can narrow it done a bit more.
Great plug-in by the way. Has been trouble free for us up to now. Thank you.
We disabled reCaptch and Contact Form CFDB7 to see if that made a difference. No. We are using theme Storefront and WP SuperCache. Will try to find a test window to check out default theme. Our test site processes forms quite quickly but it does not have a cache on it. Puzzling.

I have four websites and all of them show the same problem. After pressing the Send button nothing happens. Only a little icon shows that that the send action is in process.

I DONT USE ReCaptcha or Honeypot so this should not be source of problem.
Same behavior here… Since a few weeks, or a month ago…
Same. Thinking to switch on WP Forms.
What helped me was disabling Flamingo. Also I would recommend WP Mail SMTP Pro, even in free version you have mail logging.
Take above answer back, didn’t help.
