Contact Form 7 – Validation format / layout

I’m building a new site using the Specular Theme and have downloads as par too this.

Using “Download Monitor”, “Contact Form 7” and “Email Before You Download” plugins to manage these.

All functionality is working but the one issue I have is the validation indicator format in CF7 that is not working. The message itself appears in the correct place but the border color line indicator (normally around each input field) is not aligning with the fields in any way. Also the validation message is not formatted – so I’m not certain if what I’m seeing is meant to be around that message box itself. It seems to be one border largely covering the whole form. I don’t know what is causing it or where to correct it.
