• Hi,

Our contact form has been working as inteded for a while now and as of yesterday it has seemed to of lost it’s formatting when recieving the emails. We now recieve the emails to our work address and it has all the html code instead of it being formatted. Wondering if anyone else has had similar problems in the last few days. I have a feeling that it has something to do with another plugin but just wanted to check if anyone has recieved similar issues

    Hi @codekraft,

it has has HTML content enabled this entire time. i have submitted one with it turned off and then turned back on. both yield the same result.

Here is an example of how the email comes across.
Beforehand all the styling use to come through as normal and was correct. We’ve also noticed that the email now comes from word press and not from the email we have put on the contact form email.

this issue may be related to a smtp plugin or server settings (i was wondering because the mail sender changes, this is common for smtp plugins).

in addition you may want to check your mail client settings.

So as far as i’m aware we don’t have a smtp plugin on our site. I have had a look for anything mail setting wise and can’t seem to find an issue. Might have to look for a temporary form plugin that can hopefully work.

it can be… in this way you will find out if it is an issue of cf7 or if it is something afterwards
