• This happened once or twice before, and i thought it was just weird. Maybe what i smoked was way too good. But now it is happening again!

I created 2 contact forms, one for use and one for testing. Saved both forms to get thhe shortcode, used the shortcode in a certain page, went back to contact form 7 to edit the forms and BAM! They’re gone… 🙁

Any help as to how or why this would happen?

It would help if when you click on save the first time to create your contact form and get the shortcode, the plugin would also save the contact form. I just figured that clicking on SAVE the first time only creates the contact form, and does not necessarily save it. Clicking a second time would save it… :-/

Otherwise this is a very nice plugin 😉 hoping that this can be tweaked in a future update 😉 Thanks for this awesome plugin!

    Hi Takayuki!

It’s not from the user side, but from the admin side. What happened is when creating a new form, the first time I click on save does not actually save the form but rather it ‘creates’ the form, without really saving it. It still works, since the shortcode is given, but then if I try to go back and edit the contact form, it is not there anymore.

Turns out the first click on save creates the form, and the second click on save actually saves the form. Is this normal?

    No. “Save” always means ‘save’.

Try deactivating all other plugins and switching to the default theme.

No worries, its something I can live with 🙂

I have another question though. I am looking to taking this form a step further, with validation email, and having some layout options, such as 2 or 3 columns. I love how your contact form works compared to visual form builder. Do you plan on maybe making any updates? more options? drag and drop?

    That would be great! 😀
