If you want to collect, but not show, a field, you can do that by the following:
– Create the field under Directory Admin->Manage Form Fields
– Make the field required
– Do not check the boxes to show the field on the search form, the listing view, or the excerpt. This makes the field invisible to the end user, but collects it for you
Is there any way to show the contact number on the listing only of few listings i.e. not for all?
Also, I want to show search listing column on every page of my website so please guide me in this.
You can use the Featured Levels module to restrict the display of contact number to those listings that paid for it by fee plans, but we don’t have a way to restrict it to only certain users that are browsing the directory.
What “search listing column” are you trying to display on every page? Have you tried using the Search Widget that we include and putting that on the sidebar of the pages you want?
