Here’s a support request message for your Yoast SEO analysis issue:

Subject: Content Analysis Not Working – Posts Not Being Analyzed

    Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with Yoast SEO content analysis on my WordPress site. Here are the details:

Problem: My content is not being analyzed automatically. I have 2,873 posts showing as “Not analyzed.”

    What I’ve tried:

    • Performed first-time configuration again
    • Confirmed focus keywords are set
    • When I manually open a post in Classic Editor, Yoast analyzes only that specific post

    Current behavior:

    • After analyzing a post manually, the “Not analyzed” counter stays at 2,873
    • However, when I click “View” on “Not analyzed,” that post no longer appears in the list
    • The counter doesn’t update to reflect the actual number of unanalyzed posts

Expected behavior: Posts should be analyzed automatically, and the counter should update correctly.

Could you please help me resolve this issue so that all my content gets properly analyzed?

    Thank you.

Is this the kind of support message you were looking for?

    Hello @lubosr,

Thanks for reaching out about Yoast SEO dashboard widget. Please try the following:

    1. Install & activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations‘, ‘Reset Prominent words calculation‘, and ‘Reset Internal link counter‘ buttons. After each click, the page will reload to confirm that the specific reset was successful.
    4. Go to Admin > Yoast SEO > Tools
    5. Click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your content.

Please let us know if the reported issue remains after resetting the optimized data.

    Hello,

Thank you for your reply. I’ve followed your steps. I could see the counter resets to 0. Then I ran the optimization, which took a while. The optimization was successful, but same as before, the SEO still has the same number of Not Analyzed items as before. SEO scores: 2873 not analyzed. Any other thoughts. It feels like it hits certain post and than it fails the rest. I do not want lose any Yoast data like post description etc.

    thank you

So, it seems you imported the posts so that are not analyzed or the posts existed before you installed our plugin. Our content analysis works in your web browser as you add, edit, or update content in real time. If you do nothing on a product, post or page, the product, post or page won’t be analysed. Imported products or posts are excluded from this analysis since you didn’t add them manually. Sadly, there’s no workaround other than to open each one and save changes, even if you don’t make an actual change.
