Confirming the same issue on my site https://mapakosiv.if.ua, currently plugin is deactivated.
I concur. I reverted to 5.5.1 by downloading from https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/meow-lightbox/advanced/ and discovered a thing – if you upload the zipped plugin file via ‘upload plugin’ on the plugin page admin, if it encounters the same plugin it gives you the option of over-writing. Nice! This is probably not new, but previously I used to do the overwrite via a file manager in hosting.
This bug still occurs in version 5.5.3, I’ve downgraded to 5.5.1 and everything is fine 🙂
Strange thing is that it doesn’t occur on every site where I have images, only on two of them. On both I use stackable columns with 2 inner columns and in one of them there is an image.

I have the same problem with both versión, 5.5.2 and 5.5.3. There is an unique difference in the previous versión 5.5.1. With the newest versión appears in the console inspection this advertise: “(Meow Lightbox PS) No images found.” And then my Home don’t show post and content, and the rest of url appearfs only with the header and footer.
5.5.4 appears to solve the issue.
