Content disappears

Hi,
I just uploaded the plugin to be able to edit posts on buddyboss theme.
When I click on edit the content disappears.
Is that correct?
Thank you

Hi,
Hope you are doing well.
At the time of writing, our development team is still working to make this plugin compatible with BuddyBoss Theme and BuddyBoss Platform. You can track the progress on GitHub, please visit https://github.com/buddyboss/buddyboss-platform/issues/737.
In the example on github, the plugin looks good. On my site when you click on ‘edit’ the whole text disappears. The I click ‘cancel’ and it goes back to how it looked. Seems like maybe a conflict?
Thank you for your help on this.
Hi ,
Can you please deactivate the third party plugins, clear the cache and then check if the issue with the text disappearing gets resolved.
Regards
Hi, I also have the same problem. I have deactivated all puglins except buddyboss and buddypress edit but the problem remains.
I ended up purchasing the Buddydev editable activity plugin. Works great. Matches the icons. Problem solved. Also very good support if you need it.
Hi,
Hope you are doing well!
This issue is still under development with our product team and you can track the issue here: https://github.com/buddyboss/buddyboss-platform/issues/737
Our team also has plans of integrating the Edit Activity into the BuddyBoss Platform and you can track here: https://www.buddyboss.com/roadmap/
Yes, I wrote to buddyboss support and asked to be in the loop for when all of the issues are resolved. And I’m hoping it will perform even better than the buddydev version, which still has some minor drawbacks. But at least for now I have something that is going to work with the current version of Buddyboss.
Thank you!!
Hi @allrelative I finally found the problem:
is id = “whats-news” which is located on line 280 of the main-class.php file
In practice, it inserts a class that hides the content.
Having said that, this text to be edited makes me see it in HTML and it is not the best, because users do not know how to handle HTML

Is it possible to replace the HTML textarea with an Editor?
Hi!
@allrelative glad this was temporarily sorted out on your end.
These issues will be fixed in our future updates.@fabioarkimedeadv Unfortunately, changing the HTML textarea with an Editor is not available out of the box. To keep in track with the progress of this issue, you can follow it here: https://github.com/buddyboss/buddyboss-platform/issues/737
