Content Egg Compatibility?

    Hi,

    Is this plugin supposed to work along with Content Egg? In the sense that it already creates affiliate links to me through something like

    https://ad.admitad.com/g/g8f0qmlavfa/?ulp={{url_encoded}}.

    Because I just installed the cloack, set up the URL on the permalinks and still nothing happens

    No, this plugin only works with external/affiliate products in your WooCommerce store.

    Hi,

    I am using Woocommerce — that was a link to an external/affiliate woocommerce product. Even disabling the Content Egg affiliate link rewrite it would not work 🙁

    What happens if you preview that page using the TwentySeventeen theme? Does it get rewritten then?

    Hi,

    No, it doesn’t. I guess Content Egg writes its Buy buttons differently, could that be it?

    I guess that’s possible… Does Content Egg use the “Product URL” offered by WooCommerce to store the affiliate link? If not, that would be the issue.

    I might ask the devs at Content Egg if they override or manipulate the WooCommerce [buy] buttons for external products. They should be able to offer some clarity around that.
