Try unchecking the Yoast XML Sitemap box and saving (then clear all caches), re-check the box and save again…

Mike,
tried that. Didn’t work.
@uli
It’s caused by an XML Parsing error (Firefox shows this briefly – in line 1 column 1 – before loading the error page) – which is usually caused by a couple of blank lines at the end or start of a .php file somewhere. May not even be the WordPress SEO plugin… It could be in the theme – or another plugin.
Try installing and running Fix My Feed RSS Repair Plugin
http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/fix-my-feed-rss-repair/ to find white spaces (This extra line error also occurs with RSS feeds)
There IS an extra line at the end of wordpress-seo/inc/class-sitemaps.php you could try removing…
If that doesn’t work – you can try the classic way of finding a conflict – re-install WordPress, disable all other plugins, and switch to default theme.
Start with the default theme…
If that fails, you could get a developer to inspect your site files – or just switch to another sitemap plugin…

Mike,
thanks for chiming in.
[1] I removed extra lines in the “WordPress SEO” plugin files (/inc), bu that didn’t resolve the issue.
[2] I ran Fix My Feed RSS Repair, but it didn’t help either. Plus, now my feed is not working anymore: http://skinnychef.com/feed
(The page isn’t redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.)
