Content excluded from emails

Our blog sends out a daily fishing report to our subscribers and in that report we feature a “Product of the Day”. This is something we’ve done for years manually by selecting an image, copy/paste a description, then format into the section.
We have finally been able to connect our BigCommerce store directly to our blog with the BigCommerce WordPress Plugin. This gives us the ability to select a product directly from WordPress as a block in our posts. This formats the product beautifully for us and was indented to help us automate the procedure of advertising our products.
On the very first use, we discovered that MailPoet has completely omitted all of the content from the BigCommerce block. This isn’t the first time that content has been omitted from out mailers, but I was never able to determine why it happens.
Is there documentation describing this behavior somewhere I could reference? Could you explain why this behavior exists at all?
Not being able to promote our products in our mailers is kind of a big deal.`
