    Hi,

    I am seeing this error message at the top of my admin page and I do not understand what it means nor how to go about it.

    I’ve disabled my plugins and enabled them one by one but I am still seeing this message. In fact, it does not allow me to make any changes to my site ie. delete/add post/products etc…

    If you have any idea what this means and how to go about it, I’d be very grateful for the pointers.

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Thank you James. Re-activating all the plugins did sort the issue.

    Could I ask which plugin ultimately was the problem child?

    …or was this a case of deactivating them all, turn them all on one by one and then the problem resolved itself?

    In general, on functions.php, it could have been any, even a theme function.

    However, this one came with an added Notice: wpseo_pre_analysis_post_content bit, so whatever it was I suspect it was something meant to interact with Yoast SEO that wasn’t updated for the new ways Yoast SEO 3 did things.

    I was facing the same problem. I just made the define('WP_DEBUG', FALSE);….:) the problem is solved.
