To set the meta description for your page you would need to perform the following actions:
In WordPress, go to the Edit screen for a page/post
Scroll down to the Yoast Metabox
Input a value for ‘Meta Description’
Click ‘Update’ to save the changes to the page/post

In my posts i dont have any problem everything is good. Its a magazine so i do every time manually the meta description.
The problem is only in pages that the blogs gives like home, 1,2,3,4 (previous/next).
I want only on them to change the content <meta name=”description” content=”Στόχος του περιοδικού είναι η σωστή ενημέρωση σε θέματα ψυχαγωγίας αλλά και σε ελεύθερα θέματα που απασχολούν την καθημερινότητά μας.” />.
How will i do that?

I dont know from where take this text and i want to change it.
I dont know if it is releavent but this happen after we lost sitemaps for Search Console (we dont know why, google never gave us an answer). After that we add sitemaps again

Upon checking the page source of https://umano.gr/page/3/, the meta description tag is as follows:
<meta name=”description” content=”Στόχος του περιοδικού είναι η σωστή ενημέρωση σε θέματα ψυχαγωγίας αλλά και σε ελεύθερα θέματα που απασχολούν την καθημερινότητά μας.” />
If this is incorrect and you want to make any changes, please do so by modifying the meta description template of your homepage by following the steps in this article – https://yoast.com/help/optimizing-the-seo-title-and-meta-description-of-your-homepage/
We don’t suspect this to be related to the issues you were having regarding the sitemaps for Google Search Console. It’s hard to diagnose any issues without an error message or report from Google Search Console, but we recommend submitting your sitemap to GSC by following the steps here – https://yoast.com/help/submit-sitemap-search-engines/
