Your posts aren’t stored in the wordpress folders on your web server they are in the database on your database server and need to be backed up separately – see http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Backing_Up_Your_Database
Unless you deleted the database they will still be there and you just need to reconnect to the database by uploading the config file with username/password/hostname details.

when I selected remove wp installation i think it auto deleted my database as well !!!
there is nothing under mySql Database…..
Did you go to phpmyadmin to check if your database and posts are still there. Check if your host does regular backups of your site. Otherwise try google cache to get some of your posts back.

yes phpmyadmin shows my posts are gone =( I inquired with my provider last night and they said they restored a backup, however checking this morning it still seems the same.. I’m gonna see if they can restored to an earlier version.
How do i pull the blog from google cache? I can see all the original content from it.
Thanks!
Copy and paste I’m afraid. This is the last option if there is no backup available. So lets hope your host can restore to a recent backup.

Yes!! they had a backup of the site and restored it. First thing I did was backup the database file, however it’s only 500kb? is it normal to have such a small file for all the content? thanks!
