Content protection causes 500 error
-
Hi BuddyPress
Having a 500 error that I thought was related to Memberium, but they have tracked it back to BuddyBoss.
I’m getting this error when protecting content then saving a page:
“The members.entrepreneurshq.com page isn’t working
members.entrepreneurshq.com is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500”Here is the email trail with Memberium support below.

Liam,One last thing you can try – I notice you have some BuddyBoss plugins, including one that ties LearnDash and BuddyPress.
That is another possible cause of the crash you’re having, because when I disable it, the crashes go away. I’ve left it off for now.
It’s called: BuddyPress for LearnDash

Hi Liam,I was looking at this yesterday and will do so more today.
The error looks like it’s not preventing the updates from happening, but that something is causing the error after the updates are done.
So far we haven’t found any errors in the logs to indicate what’s causing the 500 error. We’ll keep drilling down though on it.

Hi Liam,Thanks for sending in the login details.
I’ve had a deeper look into this and noticed that this was only happening when you were trying to protect your LearnDash lessons (LearnDash->Phases)
This is something that I wasn’t able to reproduce in our sandbox environment and will need to escalate to our developer to take a deeper look into what’s going on.
We’ll take a look at this and either our developer or one of us from the team will reach out to you with an update.
Thanks,
