Hello,

I am trying to restrict a page view to only logged-in users and redirect non-logged-in users to the login page.

I’m following the instructions to restrict content (https://docs.wpusermanager.com/article/180-content-restrictions-shortcodes) on the WPUM website but it doesn’t say how to restrict content beyond wrapping content which I am unable to do on the entire page (I am using Elementor).

Also, how would I redirect non-logged-in users to the login page?

I believe you can add shortcodes with Elementor. I’m working on an addon that will improve content restriction to be at the page/post level

I am able to add the shortcode but it doesn’t block out anything.

You may need to wrap your content in the start and end parts of the shortcode, see a similar issue with Visual Composer https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/ward/

I’ve done that but the end shortcode just shows up as text and my content is restricted.

I think the question should be asked of the Elementor support, having content wrapped in a shortcode is a native WordPress feature – so they must support it somehow.
