• I just updated to wp 3.4.1 today. I updated the 3.4 on Thursday – Friday last week June 21,22. Before this I had no issues of receiving this message, but now I receive this message everyday! Then my site will come back up and go off. I’ve talked to my hosting once a day so far, but they keep saying it’s not a hosting issue. It’s a plug in issue.

What can I do to fix this error? It says something along the lines of wp-config.php user login may be wrong and something about localhost.

    Please help!

The error happens when WP can’t talk to your database. It’s nice your host is saying it’s nto them, but it’s at least partly them.

If it’s coming and going without you doing anything, then the database you’re using is having issues, and you should ask your host, specifically, if something is wrong with the database.

Will the error logs tell me exactly what the problems are?

Not really. You (usually) only have access to the PHP error logs, which will tell you things like ‘SQL server gone away!’ And you kinda already know that.
