controlling Navigation with custom post types

Hi there

We have created several new custom post types which work fine and when the related nav is selected out pages render corerctly.

However, when the user click s on a specific post our Nav always sets to Blog when we are using single.php

My question is can i sort this so that the nav renders according to the post type page that single is called from?
