Convert to InnoDB

    Hello.

    I run WP 5.7.x and LS Cache latest and 10.3.28-MariaDB-log-cll-lve.

    Trying to convert ANY myIsam to InnoDB, i get

    [09-Jul-2021 15:55:09 UTC] WordPress database error You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near ‘-wp.

    for all tables i try.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

    first of all , make a backup , then please try run, in mysql cli or phpmyadmin on your WP databse , with following query

    ALTER TABLE wp_xx ENGINE = InnoDB

    where wp_xx is the table name in your tables that is myisam

    and post result

    That worked ok, converted

    “MySQL returned an empty result set (i.e. zero rows). (Query took 0.0198 seconds.)”

    now that is weird, because that query was what I extracted from plugin’s source code

    maybe you can try follow this to convert them all

    Well thanks, i already found a WP plugin to do that and worked well.
