Hello! I updated WordPress and the plugin yesterday.

Now, whenever I use a “reusable block” that contains a block from the plugin, I can’t convert it to a regular block to edit.

I made a customized ToC. So in every post I simply add the reusable block, convert it to a regular one and it used to work normally.

Other reusable blocks that are not using the plugin are working. I have some image reusable blocks and groups. I can normally convert them to regular ones and edit.

    Is it just with me?

What can I do to fix it?

    Thanks.

    Hello @danigma ,

We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

We found that the issue itself from the WP5.6. But we will be checking the same to fix it ASAP.

Please check out this – https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/26421

For now, there is one trick that helps you out to convert it into the normal block.

If you edit the reusable block and save it again, then you are able to convert it to a normal block.

    Please refer to this video.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you so much!

For now I’m doing another trick.

I edit a published post, copy the Table of Contents block and paste on the post I’m writing.

When I paste it comes as a normal block 😀

I’ll do the trick you described.

    Thanks!

When is this going to be fixed? It’s really annoying, wasting so much of my time I’m force to look for a replacement.

Also it’s gotten worse. Today with all the latest WordPress software and this plugin, adding the reusable block hangs in the editor.

Bottom line, this plugin is not compatible with reusable blocks. That’s a show stopper bug.

    Hello @reekes ,

I’m sorry, We wish we could help you. But as we have mentioned above, the issue is from core Gutenberg itself. Please check this link – https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/26421

Will this issue be fixed in the next WordPress update? Facing problems and it took more time 🙁
