I tried and clicked on “Convert to Webp” on the jpg and png images in Media, then a popup window show up and says Image converted to webp. But none of images converted when I check the image url from website. Please advise if I am missing something. Thanks!

    Hi,

If you pull up the URL of your image and add “WebP” on the end, you should be able to see that webp images are generated and being served(check your hero image of the lanterns on the page you have given, the image is in WebP format).

The thing I notice is that the images that are not in WebP format, is that they are from 2020 (your product images)

WPO only runs the WebP conversion when it does the compression (normally newly added images)

To get WebP versions of the older images you will need to mark them as uncompressed and then compress them again (with the WebP option checked)
