    Hi everyone,

On our website we are using converted for media to compress images into AVIF. And our Lighthouse tests are showing that the converted images on the URL doesn’t have any Alt attributes (description) which we have added inside Wp-media for the SEO.

So, I just want to confirm first, is this plugin actually takes with alt-description from the original media file, or it is not yet supported?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @qrest,

    Thank you for your message.

Our plugin does not change your website’s HTML code or modify alt attributes for images.

The plugin does not change URLs to images, so when looking at the source of the website, you will see the URLs for the default images all the time. The plugin creates redirections to output files in WebP and AVIF format, changing the MIME type of these images, but without changing the URL.

Below I have attached the tutorial describing how to test the plugin:

    Best,
    Mateusz
