I use WP-Optimize plugin for caching and media compression.
However, many of my historic images are all still shown as jpg, png, etcetera.
When i install Converter For Media, all is ok and all images shown as Webp. Looks like no problems at all.

My question is now: will those two plugins interfere with eachother? Should i configure WP-Optimize to no longer handle the webp images?

    Hi @tedocweb,

    Thank you for your message.

In my opinion, in this situation, there is no point in using another image optimization plugin. One plugin is enough.

I recommend you to try the AVIF format on your website. Images converted to the AVIF format on your website will weigh about 50% less than images converted to WebP only, maintaining even better image quality. This will further improve the performance of your website.

    Best,
    Mateusz
