Converting static html site to wp

I’m brand new to wordpress and I’m trying to convert my static html site to wordpress. I’ve followed this guide/. I’m using wamp right now, and therefore not a online site.

I’ve split my html site up into 3 php files (header.php, footer.php and index.php). But my site does not look like it did before. It seems like some of the css-code is not processed. This includes all images, font family and some other styles. I guess it’s due to how wordpress works.

Can someone links some tutorials to me, or simply tell me what to do, since I can’t figure it out. And also how I make the text editable in WordPress.
