I am not familiar with ConvertKit so I cannot say anything for or against them.
We do not have an integration with ConvertKit but we do have one for MailChimp: https://easydigitaldownloads.com/downloads/mail-chimp/

Hi Pippin,
I apologise for my bad word choice: ConvertKit is not necessarily more advanced email marketing system. It seems to me that I have to use EDD, because of its WPML compatibility and the possibility to translate everything. The followers of my blog come from all over the world and I would like to offer them a platform with more language options, not only English. Does MailChimp have the option that subcribers can choose the language in which they want to receive emails?
In the following link http://mailchimp.com/pricing/entrepreneur/ it says that “If you have fewer than 2,000 subscribers, you can send up to 12,000 emails per month absolutely free.” Is MailChimp always chargeable as extension of EDD?
I read about ConvertKit in the following blog:

Yes MailChimp does allow multi-language emails: http://kb.mailchimp.com/campaigns/design/translate-content-in-a-campaign
The MailChimp extension for EDD is $29 from our website. That will be the case regardless of how many email subscribers you have on in your MailChimp account.

Hi,
I have tried to figure out, what it the logic behind the translation functions of MailChimp. I tried to insert a signup form to the sidebar of my website with the cover picture and information of my eBook. I made it in English first and translated into other languages, but the result is that I can have only one language at a time. The signup form URL is always the same.
I thought it would be something similar as WPML has that if I translate a post with pictures in it, the picture gets an individual id in each language, and I can translate the image texts also. Each language is its own database, the image is the same in media library. So I thought I would get a different signup form URL for each language. But how can I use a signup form url, if I want to embed the form in sideber? Can I find somewhere the code for it and make it a widget?
Now it seems to me that I must create a page in WP for each language and put a simple signup form. How can I add a preferred language selection dropdown to the form?
I see you opened a new ticket so I’ll respond there.
