• Hello,
a while ago I asked for a technical solution that the PE-Banner/Widget etc. does not always ask for information on the PE servers so that one has to include it in the permission list in the cookie banner. A Google My Business rating plugin works and works totally locally. I wish, you could change that in the PE plugin in the same easy way. I could dismiss my cookie banner then.
(Your response way back: “Regarding loading from the server, there will be an optimization in a future version. – now is the future! 😉 )
    Thank you in advance! 🙂

    Hello,

Thanks for asking. Unfortunately, there is no news on this topic yet. I have raised it again with ProvenExpert myself and am now waiting for the relevant input from their end.

Currently, the loaded script can only be blocked from loading without the user’s consent via a cookie consent plugin. Various plugins such as Real Cookie Banner or Borlabs offer functions (like script blocking) specifically for this purpose.

Thank you. This is a pity, I am using a cookie banner but clearly then the seal (or else) disappears totally. And I sense that many simply click on “reject cookies” so the seal is not displayed in most of the website visits. This makes the whole thing a bit useless at least when using it conform with the laws GDPR/DSGVO.
But thanks for putting a bit pressure in PE, I will contact their support in this matter, too.
