    Hi,

    Regarding cookie compliance. We are currently using Civic Cookie Control, and we’ve noticed that the Google Analytics cookie is being set before the user has given consent. Is there a way we can prevent Beehive Analytics from automatically adding the Google Analytics script and resulting cookie until a user gives consent via Civic? I’ve contacted Civic Cookie Control directly and they have said that it is not possible to prevent the Google Analytics from being added by Beehive Analytics, it can only be removed after a user revokes consent

    Also, is the plugin compatible with the WP Consent API plugin? (http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-consent-api/)

    From what I explored, it is not possible. There’s a workflow within Beehive that cannot be interrupted; even when I prevented the cookie from being written until after consent using javascript, I lost the tracking for that page visit in GA and couldn’t recover it. There appears to be no way around that nor to instigate the trigger to begin tracking myself.

    Can you please bring this to the notice of Civic Cookie Control support so that they can provide you with a workaround?
