Hey, great plugin. A lot of work you’ve put into this. Thank you.

But (there’s always a but huh?!) the fact is we’ll lose data, i.e. Google Analytics if the visitor does not click on ‘Accept’ so I’d like to see that the cookie consent is more prominent. Ideally, the message should popup in the middle of the screen and make the website inacccessible until they have accepted.

Basically, I want them to force them to accept or, decline and not get access to the website.

Is this possible with your plugin?

  • Yesterday we pushed a new release ( timing, huh? 😉 ) in which you’re able to add ‘Required’ consents. This basically means your visitors won’t be able to either accept or decline these consents, as it’s always loaded. The required consents are also added to the ‘settings’ popup so you can inform your visitors what they do, for example, your analytics. Make sure you do anonymise the collected IP addresses via Analytics (Google this to set it up correctly), otherwise you’re not GDPR compliant.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
