I used a cookie scanner to list the cookies used on my site in my cookie policy info. The Koko cookie is displayed in the list but without a category and without a description. Is this information normally stored in the cookie itself and missing here? If so, could you please add that info? Or do I have to edit something (what/where) myself? Many thanks for any help!

I assume it’s the cookie scanner that adds that information, so maybe you can ask them if they can add Koko to their recognition scripts.

Koko is an Analytics tracking cookie, however, different from other analytics options such as Google, Koko does not send your visitor data/ip address to any other server. The cookie is used to track if someone visited a on your site before, or if it’s a new visit.

Koko also has an option to disable the cookie completely.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!
