• Good day all.

My site is an http site with a fresh wordpress 4.6.1 installed today.

    my issue is detailed below:

    On Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 N-8000 andriod 4.2.1 Mozilla Firefox;

When i try to access my site’s dashboard via http://, it returns a cookie not found error on the first try, the redirects to an invalid version on the second and subsequent tries, with a white screen.
But once i change the transfer protocol to https://, it brings up “the site is insecured” message and when i continue, it logs me in immediately to my dashboard.

    On my laptop

i can access my wp-admin dashboard with one login try and no error messages are generated.

Now, i am always with my tab and i am trying to develop the site through my tab.

i will be grateful if anyone can help me discover what is causing the cookie not found error as i have ended up deleting two of my blogs because of it with the attendant hardwork and waste.

Have you installed a proper SSL certificate for your site?

Not at the moment sir. I want the site to run as an http site. i have been trying to log on through http but it just keeps redirecting me to the following link http://staging.invespreneur.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fstaging.invespreneur.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 and will bring up a blank screen.

frustration just made me try https and behold, it connected but i dont want to develop the site as https to avoid the issue of mixed content later.

Don’t use https unless/until you have a proper cert. So this issue is only on your ‘droid device? I seem to recall something about some devices running connections through a VPN. Can you disable that and see if it helps?

Thanks Stern. I have also looked at that possibility and checked that the tab is connecting straight to the Internet through 3g without any vpn. I even un installed all apps that might have that capability.

But the problem is still there.

I tried login on from a smaller android phone running on android 4.4.2 and I was able to log on perfectly.

Good evening stern. I did that before I posted here. Been doing that ever since I noticed the issue.

Ok. I really appreciate. I am about to upgrade the firmware of the Android tab to the same version with the second android that logged me on i.e 4.4.2. I will notify u of my finding.
    Thanks

i have upgraded my android device to kitkat 4.4.2 and the mozilla firefox version to 49.0. still, there is no change. i am suspecting this error is being caused by a plugin that came with wordpress like wordpress total cache. could be wrong but i need help.

    somebody, anybody, HELPPPPPPPPP!!!!!
