Cookies

Hi guys,

a question regarding a self-hosted wordpress installation’s habit to set cookies:

a) why is that happening?
b) how can I stop it?

I understand that cookies are necessary for log-in purposes and I am not concerned about that. What I wonder is why cookies are set for a regular visitor. Navigating to my page ride.i-d-e.de with a Chrome incognito window I see two entries in the Cookie Departement:

_pk_id.1.349e
_pk_ses.1.349e

If at all possible I would like WordPress to set no cookies whatsoever for the regular visitor. Is that possible? What would be the drawbacks?
