    Hello,

    Sorry if this is a really stupid question.

    I have, for the first time, been looking through what cookies my website uses there are quite a few cookies for which the provider is not my domain nor is it one immediately obvious or known to me. Examples are 360yield.com, 3lift.com, adxcore.com, ancoraplatform.com, bidswitch.net and rubiconproject.com.

    From the little research I’ve been able to do they seem to be related to banner ads and ad retargeting. My concern is that I have no idea how they got there! I’m pretty sure I haven’t signed up to any services from bidswitch.net! We don’t show banner ads on the site although we do use google ppc, facebook pixel and google retargeting. Can anyone tell me if it’s normal for all these 3rd party cookies to be used my site and give me any information on how they would have come about?

    Hello, Bryan, & welcome. Actually, if you click the ‘show details’ link in the dialog where it says your site uses cookies, I think you’ll get a pretty good idea of where they’re coming from.

    Cool idea, btw. If I were in the UK, I’d order my grandson some of those.
